About FiST Chat 46: Population 7 Billion

The UN reported last week that the human population of the planet Earth has passed 7 billion. Steve and Ben discuss this milestone, the impact it will have, the arguments being made that this milestone is a cause for concern, and how we will need to learn how to live sustainably on a finite planet with this many people. Projections indicate that the population will reach 9 billion by 2050 and 10 billion by 2100.
