About FiST Chat 51: Higgs-Boson & Goldilocks Planets
The Higgs Boson particle is the most elusive in modern particle physics. Steve and Ben discuss an impending announcement from CERN about their research in to the particle, and then segue in to the discovery of the Kepler 22b Earth-like planet 600 light years away. These discoveries are just a few of many that we can look forward to in the next 50-100 years as the human race continues to expand its horizons in the universe.
